基本資料

CSA是加拿大標準協會（Canadian Standards Association）的簡稱，成立於1919年，是加拿大首家專為制定工業標準的非盈利性機構。在北美市場上銷售的電子、電器等產品都需要取得安全方面的驗證。目前CSA是加拿大最大的安全驗證機構，也是世界上最著名的安全驗證機構之一。能對機械、建材、電器、電腦設備、辦公設備、環保、醫療防火安全、運動及娛樂等方面的所有類型的產品提供安全驗證。CSA已為遍佈全球的數千廠商提供了驗證服務，每年均有上億個附有CSA標誌的產品在北美市場銷售。

適用產品

CSA驗證產品範為主要集中在八個種類：

  1. 人類生存及環境。包括職業保健和安全、公共安全、體育運動及娛樂設備環保及保健工藝技術。
  2. 電氣與電子。包括建築用電氣設備安裝法規，各類工商及民用的電氣、電子產品。
  3. 通訊與資訊。包括住處處理系統、電信及電磁干擾技術與設備。
  4. 建築結構。包括建築材料和產品，土木產品，混凝土、磚石結構，管件及建築設計。
  5. 能源。包括能源再生和轉移，燃料燃燒及安全設備，核能技術。
  6. 運輸及分配系統。包括機動車安全、油氣管線、物資處理與分配及離岸設施。
  7. 材料工藝技術。包括焊接與冶金。

驗證申請流程

  1. 將初步申請表填妥，連同一切有關產品（包括全部電器部件和塑膠材料）的說明書和技術資料一併交給CSA 。
  2. CSA  將根據產品的具體情況確定驗證費用，再以傳真通知申請公司。
  3. 經申請公司確認後，將寄上正式申請表和通知書，該通知書包括下列要求：
  • 正式申請表簽署後，電匯驗證費用到辦事處。
  • 按通知將測試樣板送到指定地點。
  1. 指定實驗室將依時進行驗證工作。
  2. 驗證測試完畢之後，將會發給申請公司一份初步報告書（Findings Letter），詳細列明如下：
  • 產品結構需如何改良才能符合標準。
  • 要用來完成驗證報告的其他資料。
  • 請申請公司檢閱驗證記錄（Certification Record）草案的內容
  • CSA驗證所需的嘜頭以及獲取嘜頭的方法。
  • 產品所需的工廠測試（Factory Tests）。
  1. CSA 將申請公司對上述第五項的回答加以評估。
  2. 同時 CSA 將會編寫一份用作產品生產參考和跟蹤檢驗用的驗證報告（Certification Report）。
  3. 到了這個階段，在某種情況下，CSA 要到工廠作工廠初期評估（Initial Factory Evaluation），簡稱IFE。
  4. 最後 CSA 便會連同驗證記錄（Certification Record）發一份合格證書（Certification of Compliance）授權申請公司在其產品上加上CSA的驗證標誌。
  5. 申請公司要和CSA簽訂一份服務協定（Service Agreement），以表示雙方同意CSA到工廠作產品跟蹤檢驗。申請公司每年需支付年費（Annual Fee）來維持該項協議。

  1. 產品說明書
  2. 外觀圖
  3. 分解圖
  4. 產品型號及各型號間的異同
  5. 電路圖或結構圖表
  6. 產品零部件清單（廠商姓名、型號、額定電源、CSA檔案號）
  7. 申請公司和產品製造廠的名稱、地址和聯繫人
  8. 產品預計銷售的國家與地區
  9. 已經收到或正在追蹤的所有其他核准清單
  10. 可用於製造的替代材料或部件
  11. 其他材料
