沙烏地阿拉伯能效標示是由沙烏地阿拉伯標準局(SASO)管控的強制性標示，作為沙烏地阿拉伯唯一的國家標準機構，SASO全權負責所有標準和措施的制定和實施。
2009年3月SASO在國家官方公報上宣佈對空調、洗衣機、冰箱及冷凍箱這三類產品實施能效標示 (EER) 和最低能源性能要求 (MEPS)，規定自2010年4月27日起，所有在管控範圍內的產品，都必須通過能效測試，滿足MEPS的要求，完成沙烏地阿拉伯能效註冊並加貼能效標示 (如上圖)，方可清關並在沙烏地阿拉伯市場上銷售。
證書一年有效，必須在證書到期前1個月申請續證
一、LED
沙烏地阿拉伯標準SASO 2870/2015於2015年6月23日正式公佈，並於2016年5月1日開始生效。該標準覆蓋光通量高於60，低於12000的直接或間接光源的能源效率、功能性和標示要求，具體分為兩個階段：
第1階段（自2016年5月1日開始生效）：60瓦或以上間接或直接日光燈
第2階段（自2016年5月1日開始生效）：所有60瓦以下的間接或直接日光燈
同時，該標準還包括安全、電磁適應性、相容性和危險化學品要求。
照明產品涵蓋範圍包括：
白熾燈
帶有集成整流器的緊湊型螢光燈（CFLi)）
鹵素燈
發光二極體（LED）燈（白熾改型）
發光二極體（LED）燈（鹵素改型）
範圍內所有照明產品製造商必須遵守這項標準，並且已經在沙烏地阿拉伯標準組織（SASO）完成登記註冊，獲得能源效率證明。登記註冊後，照明設備應該添加相應的能源效率標籤。除此以外，抵達時，所有照明設備貨物均需經過海關檢驗，查看除了合格證明以外，是否具有能源效率標籤和證明。
二、空調
按照SASO 2663/2012標準第5條；MEPS值要求將於2015年1月22日起強制執行第2階段提升：

三、 冰箱
家用冰箱能效新標準SASO 2664:2013強制執行日期：2014-10-01
新標準實施時間表：
-- 2014年8月1日起，SASO將不再受理舊標準的能效證書申請
-- 2015年1月1日起，海關將禁止不符合新標準的冰箱進入市場
-- 2015年3月1日起，不符合新標準的冰箱將禁止在市場上銷售
-- 已持有有效沙特能效證書，但不符合新標準的冰箱，在市場上允許使用標示最晚到2015年2月28日
-- 已持有有效沙特能效證書，且符合新標準的冰箱，允許繼續使用標示直到證書失效
四、 洗衣機
家用洗衣機能效新標準SASO 2692:2013強制執行日期：2014-10-01
新標準實施時間表：與冰箱一致
