智利電氣與易燃物監督委員會 (Superintendencia de Electricidad y Combustibles，SEC) 針對在智利銷售的電氣產品，皆需依據313號令取得驗證。強制驗證範圍包括部分家電、導線、開關、斷路器、測量設備和燈具。SEC 採用 IEC 或與 IEC 等效的智利標準。依據驗證規定，製造商需向智利國內的實驗室送樣檢測。
智利的最終發證機構是SEC，但必須由智利本地授權的驗證機構先出證，測試必須在智利官方授權的測試機構完成，無法轉證。驗證要求：樣品測試（必須由智利授權測試機構完成）+ 廠檢（根據產品情況決定）+ 第一批貨品檢驗（強制要求），驗證標準：基本為IEC。
智利對部分家電產品實施強制驗證，399號令所涵蓋的產品範圍在電氣與易燃物監督委員會網頁上公佈的「強制驗證電氣產品名單」中有詳述。「強制驗證電氣產品名單」中目前包括約100種產品。其中約30種應使用智利標準進行測試。其餘產品均依據IEC標準進行測試和驗證。原則上，SEC直接採用IEC標準或與IEC等效的智利標準。智利針對電氣產品而訂立的安全標準(Chilean NCh standards)是以IEC標準為基礎的；針對電子產品的驗證制度，如消費性的電子產品、電信設備和資訊技術設備，則仍在制定中。
適用產品包括：家用電器、整機保護裝置、安裝附件及連接裝置安裝附件及連接裝置、照明設備照明設備。
家用電氣包括：
(1)廚房機械kitchen machinery
(2)貯水式熱水器water storage type water heater
(3)電熱毯、電熱墊和類似柔性加熱電器具electric blankets, electric pads and similar flexible heating appliances
(4)固定式電灶、灶台、烤爐和類似電器具fixed electric stove, stove, oven and similar electrical appliances
(5)真空吸塵器和吸水式清潔電器vacuum cleaners and absorbent clean appliances
(6)皮膚或毛髮護理器具skin or hair care appliances
(7)按摩電器massage appliances
(8)烤架、烤箱及類似可擕式灶具grills, ovens and similar portable stoves
(9)真空吸塵器和吸水式清潔電器vacuum cleaners and absorbent clean appliances
(10)液體加熱器具liquid heating appliances
(11)房間電暖器room heater
(12)暫態水加熱器Transient water heater
(13)排油煙機range hoods
(14)離心脫水機Centrifugal dehydration machine
15)製冷電器、冰淇淋機和製冰機Refrigeration appliances, ice cream machines and ice makers
(16)電動刮鬍刀和類似電器electric razor and similar appliances
(17)地板處理機和濕式擦洗機 floor processor and wet scrubber

根據2001年頒佈的No.313號法令，共有4種驗證模式：
(1)符合性標誌(ISO/CASCO 5)：安全標誌加對生產的監督，通常對智利製造商適用。
(2)分批驗證(ISO/CASCO 7)：從生產批准中抽取產品樣本進行符合性檢驗的驗證體系。根據給定的規範，每個批次針對一個具體的符合性進行評估。
(3)型式驗證加對不同批次產品的部分審查(類似於ISO/CASCO 3)。對不同批次產品的審查主要包括：對標牌的驗證、視檢，名牌及說明書，洩漏電流及電氣強度試驗。
(4)部分型式試驗加對每批產品中一個單元產品的部分試驗及驗證。適用於帶有SEC認可的安全標誌的產品，如JIS、VDE、IMQ等。
注意：(3)和(4)兩種模式適用於批量出口的造商。產品經過型式認可後獲得的標誌由型式證書的編號及智利驗證機構所給的編號構成證。產品說明書中應有西班牙文。SEC規定國外製造商必須在智利有代理商，以便在發現產品不合格的情況下進行處理。

由SEC授權的電器產品的主要驗證機構有15家，包括CESMEC、SICAL、lenore、INGCER、GERTELEC、SGS、UNDER FIRE 和 IRAM等。其中CESMEC是智利最大的驗證和檢測機構，成立於1969年，在智利及南美洲其他國家有10餘家分公司，是一家提供覆蓋電工、燃氣、醫療，衛生、食品、建築材料、化學材料等領域的產品驗證、實驗室分析、測試、校準、核對總和品質系統驗證的公司。
強制性產品需取得SEC驗證以取得進入智利市場之通行券。
