EMICODE是一項對於受保護產品之分級系統，同時也是環保標章，可針對安裝材料、粘合劑和建築材料之產品進行嚴格的驗證程序，檢查逸散之揮發性有機化合物（VOC）的含量。若產品含有已知或疑似會改變基因構造、損害生殖力或引起癌症的成分則通常不會通過EMICODE驗證。
分級系統於1997年由建築行業各部門之專家與環保及消費者保護機構密切討論後制定。通過驗證之產品可分為三種不同的級別：EC 1PLUS、EC 1及EC 2，對於各級別均訂定對於室內空氣品質和健康有不利影響的特定有害物質之嚴格限值。產品的逸散總和會決定在EMICODE之分級，EC 1PLUS和EC 1級別代表“排放量非常低”，而EC 2級別則為“低排放”。
檢測包括TVOC（總揮發性有機化合物）、TSVOC（總半揮發性有機化合物）、VOC、甲醛、乙醛等化合物之逸散量

GEV（Association for the Control of Emissions in Products for Flooring Installation, Adhesives and Building Materials，地板安裝、粘合劑和建築材料產品排放控制協會）
無各別產品之許可費，但許可證持有人必須是GEV的成員，年度會員費用取決於許可證數量（通常為幾千歐元）。
在德國，EMICODE之EC 1和EC1PLUS標章之地板膠粘劑覆蓋了所有地板安裝膠粘劑約80％～90％的市場佔有率。另外在其他國家，EMICODE之EC1被認為是具有較高聲譽的VOC排放標籤。 EMICODE EC1和EMICODE EC1PLUS被視為符合LEED、BREEAM和DGNB低逸散產品之有效證明。
