印尼的環保標章，比起同類產品在產品生命週期的過程可減少對環境影響的環境友善的產品進行驗證的標章，這個環保標章可使用在印度尼西亞的零售商品上。
1. 符合標準;
2. 積極主動，由合格可靠的第三方（Eclipse驗證機構）進行評估過程;
3. 當產品符合特定產品類別的標準時，允許使用環保標章標識;
4. 考慮到整個產品生命週期中的環境影響;
5. 環保標章的標準必須客觀，公正，並以科學數據為基礎;
6. 透明度和利益相關者參與（共識過程）;
7. 不阻礙貿易
II型環保標章包含對產品的環境方面有聲明（聲明）的產品。此類環境方面的聲明可能由製造商，分銷商，品牌持有者或其他方面自行發表。聲明不必由第三方驗證，但應符合適用的條款。在市場上辨別這種產品是看產品或包裝上的環境要求。
II型生態標籤，在此模式下，產品的生產者可以在不符合既定標準和第三方驗證的情況下自我聲明其產品的友善環境特質。標準參考使用ISO 14021自我聲明的環境聲明（II型環境標籤）。提出的聲明不需要核實或第三方證明，但若有單位需要廠商證明自我聲明的的真實性，廠商必須能夠提出證明自我聲明為真實的證據。
