加拿大於1978年開始實施的EnerGuide計畫，由NRCan（自然資源部）的OEE（能源效率辦公室）負責執行的全國強制性比較標章制度。該標章標示了每年使用之用電量（kWh）以及與同類產品的能源績效比較，若是冷氣機的話則是以能源效率比率（EER）來取代kWh值。
