阿聯酋標準和計量局ESMA（Emirates Authority for Standardization and Metrology）負責制定和執行產品合格驗證程式（Certificate of Conformity,簡稱COC）。
目前強制性產品合格驗證管控範圍主要涉及家電類產品，其他類別的低電壓範圍的產品也將逐步納入。
強制範圍內的產品必須通過測試確保符合阿聯酋相關標準要求，並在ESMA申請註冊合格COC證書，方可進入阿聯酋市場進行銷售。
不在強制範圍內的產品可申請自願的驗證。
合格驗證申請人必須為阿聯酋本地註冊公司並提供有效的本地工商註冊證書。
