基本資料

PSE（Product Safety of Electrical Appliance & Material）驗證在日本稱之為“適合性檢查”，是電氣用品進入日本市場的強制性驗證制度，統一使用PSE標誌，並加強了對進口商的懲罰措施。
日本市場的電器產品依據日本政府制定的《電氣用品安全法》和日本通商產業省 (METI)頒佈的省令技術標準區分為 「特定電氣用品 (Category A)」和「非特定電氣用品(Category B)」。
凡屬於“特定電氣用品”目錄內的產品，進入日本市場，必須通過日本經濟產業省授權的第三方驗證機構驗證，取得驗證合格證書，並在標籤上有菱形的PSE標誌。在『非特定電氣用品』部分；屬於圓形PSE的範圍內，廠商可自行提供測試與檢查報告，進行自我宣告後，始能進入日本市場合法銷售。

規範內容

「特定電氣用品(Category A)」：
A) EMC + Safety測試 + 工廠檢查＝菱形PSE標誌。
B) 商品在進入日本市場前，廠商業者需取得METI授權的第三方驗證機構所發給的驗證合格證書後，才能貼上菱形PSE標誌。
2. 「非特定電氣用品(Category B)」：
A) EMC + Safety測試＝圓形PSE標誌。
B) 廠商業者只要符合電氣用品安全法的相關規定，即可自行貼上圓形PSE標誌。

  1. 電纜和電線Cables and Cords
  2. 保險絲Fuses
  3. 接線裝置Wiring devices
  4. 電流限制器Current limiters
  5. 單相小型電力變壓器和放電燈鎮流器Single-phase small power transformers and discharge lamp ballasts
  6. 加熱器具Heating appliances
  7. 電動電器Electric motor-operated appliances
  8. 高頻脫毛器High-frequency depilators
  9. 使用除上述第2項至第8項所列以外的交流電源的電器Electric appliances using AC power supply other than those listed in the foregoing items 2 through 8
  10. 便攜式發電機Portable generators

「非特定電氣用品(Category B)」控管12種產品類別：

  1. 電纜，電線和加熱電纜Cables, cords and heating cables 
  2. 電線，配件和電纜接線開關盒Wireways, fittings, and cable wiring switch boxes
  3. 保險絲Fuses
  4. 接線裝置Wiring devices 
  5. 單相小功率變壓器電壓調節器和放電燈鎮流器Single-phase small power transformer voltage regulators, and discharge lamp ballasts 
  6. 小型交流電動機Small A.C. motors
  7. 加熱設備Heating appliances
  8. 電動電器Electric motor-operated appliances 
  9. 燈具和光學器具和機器Luminaires and optical appliances and machines 
  10. 電子設備Electronic appliances
  11. 交流電器和除上述3〜10所列以外的交流電器和機器A.C. appliances and machines other than those listed in the foregoing items 3 to 10
  12. 鋰離子電池Lithium-ion batteries。
