被規範的電子電氣產品在美國加州地區銷售都需要做CEC能效驗證，按照該法規要求，電氣產品必須由獲得美國加州能源委員會資質實驗室按照美國相應標準進行檢測，證明符合要求後才可在美國加州銷售。
