為了推廣高效機械，通過廠家的努力，設備和其他物品的取得topruuner標準值，為消費者提供資訊至關重要。為此，要進一步促進節能設備的普及，日本保存能源中心制訂了日本節能標籤計畫，制訂了四種節能標籤維度，規範哪些電器需要於產品外身貼上哪幾種標籤。
四種節能標籤分別是：
