美國電子產品環境影響評估工具(Electronic Product Environmental Assessment Tool, EPEAT)，是美國環保署(EPA)與「電機與電子工程師協會(IEEE)」共同推出之電子產品環境績效評估工具，其主要目的在於滿足美國政府與大型機構日益增加的綠色電子產品採購需求。EPEAT主要包含產品評估標準，和產品登錄、應用管理系統兩大部分。
該系統始於2003年，由美國環境保護局召集利害相關者會議後展開，並已發展成為電子領域可靠的全球環境評比系統。2009年1月美國聯邦政府正式要求旗下部門需購買通過EPEAT認證的IT產品，其他州政府與私人企業也陸續採用EPEAT作為採購指標，EPEAT識別標誌目前已擴展到43個國家和區域。
EPEAT系統的環境標準涵蓋整個產品生命週期，從設計和生產到能源使用和回收。 EPEAT產品評估基於ANSI（美國國家標準局）認可之公開標準，並通過利害相關者共識程序制定的。製造商的符合聲明須經合格驗證機構進行查證。發現不符合要求的產品將從EPEAT登錄表中刪除，以確保全球買家能夠信賴該系統。
EPEAT目前包括PC和顯示器（包括平板電腦），影像設備（包括印表機、複印機、掃描機和多功能設備）和電視機的產品等級。正開發手機、伺服器和其他電子產品的環境領導標準。
EPEAT登錄目前包括桌上型電腦desktops、筆記型電腦laptops/notebooks、工作站workstations，精簡型電腦thin clients、顯示器（電腦顯示器）displays (computer monitors)、電視機televisions、印表機printers、複印機copiers、掃描機scanners、多功能設備multifunction devices、傳真機fax machines，數字複印機digital duplicators和郵寄機mailing machines。有關其他設備類別的環境標準可能後續會被考慮列入EPEAT登錄管理機構。
EPEAT係採取登錄(Registry)制，亦即業者依IEEE 1680與EPEAT網頁提供之確認程式自我評估符合登錄要求後，即可連結EPEAT網頁登錄本身合格產品，登錄業者並須同意簽署EPEAT制式之協議書並繳付年費(Annual Subscription Fee)。綠色電子產品協會(GEC)並不執行登錄前查核，而使用“宣告與查核(declare and verify)”系統來管理登錄EPEAT之產品。生產商必須根據綠色電子產品協會和/或其符合性保證機構（Conformity Assurance Body, CAB）的要求，擁有並提供證據以支持所有聲明（如相關標準中所要求）。

EPEAT查證調查由全球之符合性保證機構（CAB）之專家和獨立稽核員進行。符合性決策小組（Conformity Decision Panel, CDP）由獨立的電子和環境專家組成，在不知道所涉及的公司及產品身分的情況下，審查調查結果（以及製造商提出的任何請求）以決定符合性之判定。當委員會判定有不符合之情況時，製造商需要修正其聲明。

參與製造商根據其登錄產品類別之銷售額對應年費之表格來支付年費。銷售額包括產品類別中所有產品的銷售，無論其是否符合環境要求，或是否產品被選擇進行EPEAT登錄。費用需在登錄及每年度進行支付。年費範圍介於1,550～152,000美元。
除向綠色電子產品協會支付參與EPEAT之年費外，製造商也須向符合性保證機構（CAB）支付登錄服務費（Registration Services Fee）。

目前可接受EPEAT登錄為綠色產品證明之國家包含美國、加拿大、澳洲、紐西蘭、蘇格蘭、法國、波蘭、新加坡、英國。美國政府EPEAT相關綠色採購命令：Executive order 13423 &13514、Federal Acquisition Regulations、OMB（美國預算管理局）Scorecard。估計目前每年EPEAT造成之綠色商機約為600億美元。
