FloorScore®認證是美國科學認證體系（Scientific Certification Systems, SCS）和彈性地板覆蓋物研究所（Resilient Floor Covering Institute , RFCI）合作的第三方認證，測試地板產品符合最嚴格的室內空氣質量指標和低排放的可持續地板產品質量標準，不僅有對E0-E1級甲醛釋放限定標準，還有對揮發性有機化合物(VOC）、重金屬等其它有毒揮發物含量的評估。根據FloorScore®認證的要求，製造商必須提交一份質量控制計劃書，其中包括供應鏈管理的嚴格要求。通過開發或購買與目標低濃度（VOCs）的原材料，使所製造的產品符合標準並通過認證，Floor Score®可說是全面綜合的認證，且為全球最嚴格的室內空氣質量標準。

驗證申請流程

提出申請：申請者應依照SCS Global Service提供之申請表格式填寫並提出申請，SCS公司將依申請資料內容判定驗證範圍，擬定驗證計畫，並提出時程建議與報價。
基本資料收集：於接獲申請案後，SCS公司會指派案件協調人員，協助申請者整合應檢附之相關原始資料。SCS並會審閱相關資料包含產品資料、生產文件、測試結果、與其他相對應文件以判定業者是否已準備妥當，一旦業者備齊相關資料，SCS便會指派稽核員受理案件。
現場查核：稽核員進行生產現場訪查以評估申請資料，並與現場技術人員互動以釐清案件內容，並收集額外資訊以支持驗證結論。
草擬驗證報告：稽核員撰寫驗證報告草案，詳細報告各項查核發現，包含資料分析結果、不符合事項內容、與建議改善事項。
內部稽核員複核：SCS會指派內部稽核員代表複閱驗證報告草稿，進行必要之修正後寄交申請者。
施行矯正措施：申請者應針對報告中之不符合事項研擬改善計畫並加以實施，申請者亦可以針對報告中記載之發現與結論提出意見或說明。
驗證決定：接獲業者之改善報告或說明後，SCS會召開最終審查會議以評估案件並作出最終驗證決定，若同意發證，則SCS會發出證書與最終驗證報告予申請者，並同時將申請者之資訊將公告於SCS公司網站之綠色產品驗證資料庫。
證書維持與更新：SCS於證書有效期內會定期執行查核，以確認申請者持續符合規格要求，並作為換證之基礎。

由於每個申請案之範圍、驗證時程與報價皆不相同，FloorScore並未公告收費標準，依驗證流程說明，SCS會視每個個案之狀況提出驗證時程與報價。(大約美金9,000~10,000)
