基本資料

綠標籤(Green Seal)建立於1989年，是一個提供第三方環保驗證的非營利組織，以永續經濟為其創立理念，期望建立一套有效的驗證標準，並藉由多方的合作關係，有效的減少產業活動產生的碳足跡。Green Seal的驗證標準是以生命週期評估方式，計算產品與服務在原料開採，生產，使用和再利用或處置之生命週期各階段的環境衝擊，目前Green Seal 已建立31項環保議題標準，含括375項產品及服務。

驗證申請流程

填寫綠標籤驗證預申請表。完整地填寫申請表並簽名。綠標籤組織簽署好申請表及保密協定，並寄送一份原件給申請者留檔。
遞交申請表的程式完成之後，綠標籤組織會安排專人聯繫申請方的聯絡人，詳細說明評估程式，並將所需資料的清單發送給此聯絡人。
將所需資料(一式兩份)遞交至綠標籤組織總部辦公室。若申請方沒有按要求提交一式兩份的資料會延誤評估的時間，並會產生額外的費用。
對產品的評估。綠標籤組織可能會安排一個適當的時間對生產設備進行審核。審核的時間通常都是安排在產品已經通過了大部分的評估之後。
當一個產品已經事實上符合了所有的驗證要求之後，綠標籤組織就會安排職員與申請者一同設計產品包裝，將綠標籤的標誌及有關產品優越的環保性能的詳細說明文字放入產品的包裝設計及銷售宣傳資料中。申請者對綠標籤的任何使用都要預先通過綠標籤組織的確認，並要遵守「綠標籤標誌的使用管理規則」。
