藍色標誌標準(bluesign® standard)是一個由歐盟學術界、工業界、環境保護及消費者組織代表共同訂定的新世代生態環保規範，由總部設於瑞士St.Gallen的藍色標誌科技公司(Bluesign Technologies AG)於2000年10月17日在德國漢諾威(Hanover)公諸於世，bluesign所授權商標的紡織品牌及產品，代表著其製程與產品都符合生態環保、健康、安全(Environment、Health、Safety；EHS)，是全球最新的環保規範標準與讓消費者使用安全的保障。
許多環保標準是測試成品，bluesign® 則相反，在生產製程開始前就先檢定成份及過程是否符合標準；因此，有害物質從一開始就被禁止使用，這種標準設計的概念在於，如果產品成分本身就不含危險物質，
則終端產品一定是乾淨的。bluesign® 為了判定一個化學成份是否符合其標準，訂立了一個程序，將每一化學成份依其生態與毒性的影響分類，進而將原料、化學成份與生產製程區分為灰色與藍色兩個部分，依下列各項層面進行評估：
1. 水資源保護。
2. 廢氣及廢棄物排放管制。
3. 職工健康與安全。
4. 消費者安全。
5. 安全的製造和節省資源的方式。
6. 運用最適效益的生產技術。
7. 最終產品符合藍色標準規範。
將含有一般禁用物質的原料或化學成份一開始即排除於製程之外，並由一般用途的原料或化學成份製成之紡織品，於各方面均符合bluesign標準即可通過藍色標章。bluesign®標準採用所有相關的「限用物質清單(Restricted Substance List,簡稱RSL)」係參照Levi's、Nike、Marks & Spencer、全球有機紡織品標準(GOTS)及環保、化學及工廠標準而成，可以大幅減少環境、職業健康安全管理體系查核工作。
2008年7月臺灣檢驗科技股份有限公司(SGS)取得藍色標誌科技公司50%的股權，透過SGS遍佈全球的脈絡，更加強了bluesign®標準的普遍化。時至今日，bluesign®已發展成為一個全球性網絡，其顧問團成員來自科學與政治界、貿易與產業界以及消費者與環保組織。

i. 藍色化學品：可以符合bluesign®所有標準與要求之化學品。
ii. 灰色化學品：僅可於特定狀況下使用。
iii. 黑色化學品：不符合bluesign®標準與要求之化學品。

紡織品及紡織配件（含化學品供應商、紡織製造商及紡織品牌商與零售商）
在驗證流程部分，由於bluesign®並非一般單純之標章驗證系統，其過程包含輔導與驗證兩部分，其特色如下：
(1) 為私人公司營利性標章，過程包含輔導與驗證。
(2) 須使用bluesign®提供之工具軟體，並遵循其專家指示修正製程與系統
(3) 製造商驗證過程包括：

由於整體作業包含評估、改善、輔導、執行、與驗證，且客戶可能為品牌商、製造商、原料供應商等，狀況十分複雜，bluesign®公司網站與簡介皆未提供申請費用相關資訊，實際費用請與bluesign®公司或SGS公司聯繫。
藍色標誌標準(bluesign® standard)目前為最多紡織品製造商(如Schoeller Textil AG, Christian Eschler AG, Getzner Textil AG 等)所採用的環保驗證，並且獲得包括Huntsman Textile Effects 及Clariant International Ltd.等化學產業上的龍頭公司所支持。
